Kilderkin Distillery

16 Nov 2018

Larrikin Gin Masterclass

In 2016, a brewer called Scott with a passion for craft beer and spirits, met a Scot called Chris with a lifelong interest in distilling. The pair decided it was time to fulfill their ambitions, and so the Kilderkin Distillery was born. The first distillery in the region since the 1930s, Kilderkin Distillery produces high-quality spirits enjoyed by everyone, including the crowd favourite Larrikin Gin. This masterclass covers a history of distilling in Ballarat and Victoria, while delving into the history of gin from its Dutch origins through to modern-day craft distilling. Participants will get insights into the gin-making process, and even have the chance to taste, sample and create their own cocktail masterpiece!
